Diana was born in New York City of Ecuadorian parents. She currently works for the County of Union. Diana received her Master in Public Administration from Kean University in 2015 and her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Psychology from Kean University in 2012.

Ms. Calle was inducted into the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration, Pi Alpha Alpha and elected to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. In 2014, she was also selected to participate in the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) National Internship Program in Washington, D.C. In 2013, she completed the NJ Governor’s Hispanic Fellows Program, assigned to ASPIRA Inc. of NJ.

Diana was awarded with the 2011 Young Latina Leadership Scholarship sponsored by LUPE Fund, Inc., whose mission is to Educate, Empower, and Engage Latinas in the State of New Jersey. Since then she has remained as an active member and currently serves as a Board Member, and the Chairperson of the 2017 Young Latina Leadership Scholarship Committee. She has also served in the capacity of Co-Chair of the 2015 Young Latina Leadership Scholarship Committee and a committee member for the Young Latina Leadership Conference and the Latina Summit State Wide Conference.

Ms. Calle also serves in various professional organizations such as the Membership Chairperson of the Hispanic Latino Alumni Council (HLAC), Inc. Diana was the Secretary for the Graduate and Part-time Student Council at Kean University and a mentor for HISPA (Hispanic Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement). She is also a member of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc.
