Maria moved to the United States at the age of 7 from Guatemala. She received her Associates’ Degree in Psychology from Union County College in 2013 and received a full scholarship to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Political Science from Seton Hall University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
