100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment in New Jersey

As we prepare for the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment in New Jersey, the New Jersey Women Vote communications committee is also aiming to celebrate today's female voting population. With that in mind, we are hoping to include content from notable New Jerseyans, to share your stories and inspire a new generation of voters.

We are hoping to include a video or quote on our social media pages featuring you discussing any of these topics:

  • Your memory of the first time you voted
  • How suffrage history and New Jersey history impacts your voting
  • Why I vote/Who I vote for

There are three different ways to include your feature

  1. Send us a 30 second video clip, either recorded in selfie mode on your phone or by someone else
  2. Send us a typed quote for us to use
  3. Give us a call and we will set up a time for a quick phone chat for quotes

Please let me know if you are able to participate, or if you have any questions. Your help and support are appreciated as we continue to celebrate New Jersey's suffrage history.

Please see this video of Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver as an example of our #WomenVoteWednesday campaigns.
