Stephanie Pabón is a dedicated public servant and human resources professional with a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in local government. She currently serves as an Employee Relations Officer for the Newark Board of Education, New Jersey’s largest school district.
At just 25 years old, Stephanie made history as one of the youngest individuals appointed Personnel Director for the City of Paterson, New Jersey’s third-largest municipality. Her experience across municipal government has helped shape her expertise in personnel management, public service, and community engagement.
Deeply proud of her Puerto Rican heritage, Stephanie also serves as Vice President of the Comité Patriótico Cultural Puertorriqueño (CPCP), supporting cultural programming, scholarships, and community initiatives. Her passion for civic engagement extends to leadership roles with the New Jersey Young Democrats and local political organizations throughout Middlesex County.
A proud product of the Rutgers Upward Bound Program and Academy for Urban Leadership Charter School, Stephanie continues to lead with purpose, advocacy, and heart.
