LUPE Fund and Latinas in STEM Announce Partnership LUPE Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate, empower and engage Latinas to promote leadership and civic engagement is pleased to announce a partnership with Latinas in STEM, a non-profit organization whose mission to inspire and empower Latinas to pursue, thrive and advance in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
The partnership between LUPE Fund and Latinas in STEM unites two organizations with a mutual purpose to empower and educate Latinas, and provides an opportunity to inspire women in various areas of education and professional backgrounds.
The two organizations will be able to promote greater visibility and outreach efforts, offer additional program opportunities for its members and provide a supportive platform for Latinas to connect with one another. “We are excited to be able to partner with Latinas in STEM and further expand our focus to ensure that Latinas develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in college and professional careers,” said Sara Peña, President of LUPE Fund. “By working together, LUPE Fund and Latinas in STEM will be able to make a greater impact to fulfill our mission and ensure long term success for Latinas and their families.” “There are so many young women that have the ability to succeed, but simply don’t have a blueprint on how to get there.
Latinas in STEM was created to address these issues and our partnership with LUPE Fund will expand the support and resources available for Latinas.
