Dr. Griselda Rodriguez-Solomon is an Afro-Dominican mother, wife and Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Gender Studies and International Studies within the City College of New York. Her current research is focused on Birth Justice and addresses racism in US maternal health. Dr. Griselda Rodriguez-Solomon brings her theoretical work to life via her role as both yoga instructor and birth doula. She is committed to reinforcing the essential role that peoples of African descent continuously play throughout human history.
